She broke my new digital camera?

when my bestfriend had a digital camera she let me borrow it to take myspace pictures, i never broke it or anything. but i guess she dropped it one day and it broke. later on i got a brand new digital camera...my older sis bought it for me, i let my bestfriend borrow it to take pics just like she let me borrow hers b4. well she comes to skool the next day and said "oh i didn't use it cuz the batteries ran out" and i said "oh thats weird i just charged the batteries and it lasts forevrr" so when i got home the batteries were out which was weird so i recharged them again and put it in the camera and it would not turn on! it just buzzes and turns back off. it broken.the next day [today] i said did you accidently drop it or something"? she says "noo" i know she is lieing about something because it is broken! it does not break by itself and its brand new too. today shes like "omg i feel soo bad i am so sorry" but when she said that she was smiling..should i be mad at her?

we use to be the best of freidns, but ever since we started high skool this year shes been a ***** and just acts like my "friend" i think shes jealous b/cuz she always says how i am spoiled and how her parents are evil and never spoil her lol?

ask her to pay you back, keep bothering her until she does. if that dosent work then maybe you should get your parents involved. sucks how friends can change when getting into high school....try not let people borrow your expensive stuff...even if they are your best friend....especially in high school.

she is jealous. yeah I would be furious. make her pay for it. have it repaired and give her the bill. if she refuses to pay for it, have your parents talk to hers about it. they probably wont want any trouble and will pay for it. next time don't lend something that expensive to a friend. good luck!
