What digital camera do you suggest?

I'm thinking to buy a new digital camera, something below $300. and 6 or more megapixels with rechargable batteries, any suggest and why?

I have a Cannon PowerShot and I love it! It takes awesome pictures and I have never had any problems with it. I got it two years ago and it's still great. I know a few people that have trouble with the Sony Cyber Shot. The zoom feature gets stuck, the camera will go crazy (seriously, it will go through all the settings without touching it), and the pictures do not come out that good, so I would not suggest it. Sony's digital camera's are easy to use, and take excellent pictures, they only cost 200 dollars, and you can get them in different colors too. They have a separate digital camera-battery, they don't have regular ones. They can go up to 13x in zoom.

The camera I own. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2. 6 megapixels, 12X optical zoom, has image stabilizer, has manual controls and auto, will give you an excellent 8X10 print, acceptable 11X14s. Very good on rechargeable batteries and comes with battery charger. I never had problems with my DSC-H2.
