I am looking for a decent digital camera for around $300.00.
I will be mainly taking pictures of people, action shots, and outdoors.
I also want one that wouldn't be to big or awkward to handle because I am going to be taking it on vacation trips as well.
I would really like to have regular batteries in it as oppose to camera batteries. Just incase I need a refill and can't find the right camera battery.
Where would be some reccomendations on where to purchase one? I was thinking of looking at Costco or Fry's Electronics near my house in Chicago.
Thank You Well if I were to get a camera that takes AA batteries then I will just get rechargable batteries.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into it. there are some good cameras out there man, look at dp reviews and figure out what you want, and whats the very best for your dollar.
The kodak easyshare C875 is a nice little camera.
start there and see if you really need to spend 300 dollars or if 199 is good enough. There are advantages and disadvantages to cameras that take AAs. The NMHi are terrific, but are a little more annoying to use. -and regular alkaline AA's don't last very long.
But- consider the Canon A570IS or for more zoom, the A710IS. Neither are 'pocket' cameras, but they're not too big either, are reasonably priced and take AA's. |
