So, just thinking about this. MP3 players, wireless controllers and other small electronics are able to include a rechargable lithium battery that you can just connect to a USB port to recharge it. Is there a specific reason this isn't used in digital cameras? It would make it a lot easier than replacing the batteries so often. Would the battery interfere with the picture in some way? because the amount of current that would need to go though your printer or computer to recharge the thing would make it blow up. it's not wired for it. someday yes, but there are still many computers in homes that can not provide the electricity to power even basic devices.
example...the front usb ports on windows computers(like made bafore 2000) or the usb ports on mac keyboards can not even power some flash drives i have
thats 1 good thing about the new windows vista, it forces consumers to have better computers so that companys can release new products that need the extra power and performance, but for people who want the basic of the basic they have to pay more money for features they might not use |
