HP digital camera help please????

i have an hp digital camera (photosmart m307) and it wont power on, even with fresh batteries in it. there is no visible wear and tear, let alone damage at all. it was hardly used and i need help on how to turn it back on!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you

the battery door is broken off, but it goes back on, but maybe this is the problem???
