Can I use rechargeable and regular batteries at the same time in my digital camera?

Will it be bad for it? I have a Duracell battery and an Energizer rechargeable battery.

Yes you can but it is HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Why? Because the batteries will be mismatched and although it might work at first, I believe the non rechargeable battery will heat up and may explode.
