How long do 2 x AA batteries last in a compact digital camera (vivicam 6320). Ours seems very short!? don't use standard AA batteries, use AA batteries specifically for "high-tech devices," I recommend rechargeable batteries, but energizer e2 lithium always work well too...they take up to 630 pictures well a normal battery only takes up to 90. Not very long. Mine last about a day. Regular alkaline batteries don't last any time in digital cameras. A day at most. The best thing you can do is go get some rechargable batteries, yes they are more expensive, but you only have to buy them once. Hi, sorry to tell you but digital cameras eat batteries. Best to buy high powered rechargeable batteries, don't forget to buy a second set so you can use one set while charging the other. we switched to rechargeable batteries, they last almost as long a alkaline batteries and we do not have to keep buying batteries, but you need to lit then run all the way down before you recharge them, because if you recharge them early they thing that , that is their charge span and will hold a shorter charge. Buy rechargeable, save money Use rechargeable or Energizer e2 Lithium batteries, which are the best non-rechargeable batteries. TURN OFF THE LCD MONITOR, unless it is absolutely critical for you to check framing. At least set the monitor to turn off automatically after 10 seconds or so. These things are the real culprits in draining batteries. Ah, memories. The power requirements of a digital camera are extremely high and more so when the flash is on. Your batteries are measured in milli-amp hours, and consequently an 800 mAH battery will last 1 hour when 4/5 amp is being used. When lots of photos are being taken, this can be as little as 20 shots.Duracell are between 1800-2300 milli-amp hours and consequently last twice as long, but the best buy is rechargable batteries. Now the techie bit: Don't go in for these new fangled cameras buy yourself a box brownie. |
