Now, even though the battery on the camera is charged when I go to download photos to my computer it says that it doesn't recognize the device. What's up? You just need to download the driver again. Just perform a search with your camera model and the word driver on Yahoo or google or whatever search engine you use. Download the driver and you should be all set. You can also reload the driver from the software that usually comes with the camera if you still have it. the cord may be bad or the memory card is going bad It could be your USB port.
