I have a sony DSC S5OO digital camera.even though i recharge the batteries they go out of charge soon...y?

i use a Ni Mh AA alkaline battery..

That happened to me once. They could be exhausted. You could take them to a Sony store and ask them to check them for you and see if you need to buy some new ones. Good luck!
