How can i reserve the the batteries on my FinePix A700 Fujifilm Digital Camera?

I've had a Fujifilm camera for about 5years now and have always had problems with keeping batteries charged for it...so i started using regular AA batteries...is this hard on my camera? Is there a certain kind of battery that doesnt wear out as fast? Is there something i can do to keep them from wearing down? I hardly look at my pics after i take them just to reserve the battery so i dont think thats it... help...

get a rechargeble batteries and make sure you drain the battery on every use. Don't keep charging batteries even if you have enough juice left. That's what I do.

Just buy some more NiMH batteries. Get some higher rated ones (over 2500 mA-h) and use them. Your camera was designed to use those batteries so regular AA's you will find, do not last very long.

I think you mean "conserve battery power." Anyway, the new rechargeable batteries are pretty good. Make sure to get something from Sanyo if you don't want to do much research. Otherwise, buy one of those AA batteries that are especially made for digital cameras.
