Which are the most suitable re-chargeable batteries for a digital camera?

Mostly NiMh batteries are recmmended to be used with digital cameras. And also lithium batteries.Depends upon the design of the manufacturer.
But the fact is the digital camera consumes more power ,so it can't be used with normally available cells and with Nicd batteries.Make Sure the Mah should be more than 1500 Mah for the 1.2v Nimh ,AA cells.
Other wise you willl be facing problem,After some 10 or 15 snaps it shows battery down or depleted Even change the batteries.

Lithium. they last longer, don't have "memory"
, and cost more at first, but you save money in the long run.

NiMh. Buy a camera that accepts standard AA or AAA batteries, then buy NiMh batteries for it.

Good quality ones from a well known brand, so they last long. They should last longer than normal batteries.

Lithium (engergizer E2 batteries) for non rechargable and AA Nihm (Nickel Metal Hydride) for rechargables.

A lot of digital cameras use AA size batteries.NiMh are the best and most cost effective...Get the highest capacity you can...3000NiMh or more will give you great battery life.
