What are the best batteries 4 my digital camera? |
its a polaroid. i just got it and the batteries they gave me suck! Of course, the rechargeble NiMH mentioned above are the way to go, but if you need to buy some on the road or "right away," get the Energizer Lithium e2 batteries. That cost more, but they last about 4 times longer. They are a serious improvement over any non-rechargeables available. Definitely rechargeable. You can get them for around $12 with charger. They last longer than regular batteries and they are easy to use and recharge. rechgargable baterriees avaliable threw wallmarts, they specalize in kodiack-- stuff or commonlly known as nickel cadiumm rechargables hons!! If your camera takes AA batteries, go for the rechargeable NiMH AA batteries. Also choose batteries with the highest mAH number (highest capacity) - these batteries will last the longest. If your camera uses AA size batteries, then (for cost effectiveness) you need to purchase rechargeable NiMH AA batteries of at least 2500 MAh...plus a charger. Lithium AA batteries- not as cost-effective in the long term as rechargeables, but they LAST for an entire day of shooting without needing to be changed. I recommend you skip the rechargable battery section in your local electronics store and go for the cheapest standard batteries you can buy. Use 'em and chuck 'em. Digital cmaeras are hard on batteries and your rechargables may not last very long. Pack a few sets of AA's and chuck 'em as they wear out. Lithium - non rechargeable |
