Well , the rechargeable AA sized cell gives out 1.2 Volts per cell whlist the alkaline battery gives out 1.5 volts . i would guess yes, there should be an 800 number in your manual you can call and be sure, or go to website Yes, they are the same, rechargeables just last longer.
