What happens if I use regular batteries in a digital camera that requires lithium batteries?

They die very quickly, besides in the long run you will save money on lithium batteries because you just recharge them, never have to buy another battery!

Depending on what kind of camera it is, you might be able to use plain alkaline. If they do work, however, they might not last as long as the lithium. Give it a try!
