Why does my digital camera go through batteries so quickly? |
it's new and it goes through batteries every couple of days. or like a week. God Bless and Be Safe :) oh and i dont take a lot of pictures and it doesnt just sit on. if you're using the flash feature that will use up your batteries quickly, or it could be the type of batteries you are using. love your i.d name btw :-p Digital Cameras are battery hogs. Can you use rechargables? Try that, get 2 sets so you always have a fresh set ready. I know that they make batteries now for digital devices. Try using them. If I were you I would get rechargeable batteries. Its much cheaper that way. Using the large viewing screen will eat up batteries faster than anything. Use the viewfinder whenever possible. Another option are rechargeable batteries. The LCD is the main culprit. Large LCDs eat a ton of energy. Some digital cameras will burn through normal alkaline batteries in 15 minutes. Some won't even turn on with normal alkaline AA batteries. Get a set of NiMH rechargeable batteries. Otherwise, Energizer sells the Li e2 batteries which last longer but are still disposable and costly... It's for sure cuz you use normal batteries .. which jus get killed by the great consumpsion of the camera .. and also cuz you leave the batteries in the cam when it's off .. this festroys the batteries :D .. anyway what is recommended is that you jus buy some rechargable batteries from Radioshak or even Energizer .. they're fine batteries and keep away from those habits All cameras eat batteries. The "ultra" ones or the brands advertized for cameras or electronics do last longer. Some people say rechargeable so you may want to check that out too. |
