Which is better: a digital camera using batteries or a camera using memory card? |
i want to knoe which'll be useful... i have a plan to buy a sony cyber-shot dsc w-100 any camera needs batteries -- that's the energy source. They are two different things. A memory card and a rechargeable battery are the way to go. What else do cameras run on if not batteries? A cordless extension?!haha All digital cameras need batteries. I think they all use memory cards too, although you have to buy them seperately. I think you are a bit confused, all didital cameras need batteries for power. All digital cameras need somewhere to store data whether this is on a card or stick or otherwise . Your question makes no sense. All digital cameras use batteries and memory cards. Rather use a camera where the batteries can be recharged. You do get cameras where the camera itself can be charged but that is not very practical. The memory card is where the photo gets saved and has the battery life. You want a camera with a rechargeable battery, otherwise you will be going thur a ton of batteries. I have a digital that has a rechargeable battery and has a memory card and i love it. Good luck finding a camera. um a camera needs batteries 2 run no matter what, a memory card would allow you too take more photos than just a a cam with batteries I would recommend you to buy a digital camera w/ memory card (which of course needs battery). I myself have done some research and found two good cameras: Fujifilm F30 Zoom & Panasonic FX01. All cameras use batteries. They're needed for the cameras electronics. But not all cameras use memory cards. Most do but there are older and cheaper ones that don't. They have internal memory and when filled you can not add anymore pics til you transfer or remove what's in memory. With memory cards when they are filled you can replace it with another card. i have a digital camera with a memory card and a battery pack that i have to charge up every now and then. my memory card holds over 1000 pics as well. i love it! My dear Get a Disposable Camera until you know the difference between battery and memory card. The memory card on my camera holds 400 pics and 13 minutes of video. I used the camera batteries and they only lasted for two days, so i started using the cheap AA batteries and they last just as long and cost 1/10 the price. Your question makes no sense. All cameras require an energy source. Rechargable batteries are the best option. Digital is best because film cameras are nearly obsolete now. ok i think some one misdirected you when looking at digital cameras a memory card is used to store the picture not to run the camera you still will need to buy batteries their are batteries just made for digital cameras and then rechargeable batteries also some cameras have both internal memory and memory card i have a camera that i can store both i love that option because some times i just want to store and load pictures were you can store lots and lots of picture on a memory card then take them to get developed. Hello! The Sony cybershot dsc w-100 should have a 3x optical zoom. It recommends a Sony NP-BG1 Type G InfoLithium Rechargeable Battery Pack DSC-N1 for the Digital Camera. I say get rechargeable batteries and memory card........... a digital camera uses both batteries and a memory card. so you will need both. All digital cameras have batteries. They also have some kind of memory card, so these are not qualities that can be compared. We have an older CyberShot by Sony and it is really great. It takes 2 AA-sized rechargeable batteries, and it uses a memory card on which to store the pictures. This was incredibly handy because when we were in HI, I took upward of 700 photos, and there's NO way a regular non-chip/card camera could have handled that! They use both. You sound a bit confused with the technical issue. All digital cameras need a power source. I have never heard of one available that doesn't operate on batteries. They also need a storage card(flash drive, compact flash, DVD,) Your question is a bit like apples to apples, but you are comparing the stem to the core. Kodak makes some very affordable, user friendly models that are great for beginners and experienced users as well. They serve two different functions. Batteries power the camera and the memory card stores memory (more memory = more pictures/videos you can take). Camera using a memory card. and that is a really nice camera, I have one, and trust me, it is SWEET! I use both! Rechargeable batteries & a memory card. But, keep extra batteries though, cuz they dont last too long! well search ur answer on yahoo tech i have a digital camera it uses camera batteries, and a memory card makes it so you can take over a hundred pics, and if you do it right you ask for a cord that you can plug in and take videos with so it doesn't use all your battery..i love my camera it is a Kodak easy share..i cannot tell you how special it is i can take pics put them on CD, and have them on my computer of my kids.. Honey get a Digital that has both Memory for storing your pics and battery supply along with hook up for charging too!! Rechargeable would be best and I would probably look at Canon,Kodak etc. for other options to Cyber-shot! |
