Can I use my digital camera rechargeable batteries in my XBox 360 wireless controllers?

I think it is lithium... or something like that. Can it cause any damage to my wireless controller?

donot use!!!YOU CANNOT use rechargable batteries in a non rechargable battery system (these count for all game systems) the best thing to do is go and buy some same type batteries or if you arent sure then goto a battery shop and ask which batteries suit it the best

Yes, as long as they are "AA" batteries they will work in the controller. They won't cause any type of damage to your controller unless you try to recharge them in the controller. WARNING!!! Do not try to recharge other types of rechargeable batteries in your controller. Take the batteries out of the controller first and only recharge them with the adapter that came with the batteries.
