Is this normal for the batteries in my digital camera? |
to go dead after putting them in 24 hours ago and then they are dead? I have gone through 4 batteries. Engergizer with in 2 days of purchase of the camera and batteries. Digital cameras eat up batteries. But that sounds like a bit much. Are you turning the camera off after use? Try getting rechargeable batteries. They may not last any longer but they will cut down on your battery costs. Thanks! Report It Like with your phone it depends on how much you use them. Using the flash will use more power. To save power you can turn the LCD screen off and just use it like an old camera. Do you have an optical viewfinder? Turn off the monitor and use it if you do. LCD monitors are battery hungry devices. The longer you leave it on, the quicker the batteries will drain. If you don't have an optical viewfinder so you MUST use the monitor, set it to turn off after the minimum time offered, such as 5 or 10 seconds. Don't spend too much time reviewing your pictures on your camera. Save that for the computer when you can use a card reader and not drain your camera batteries. yes. if you are not using the nimh kind, it would really go fast. you need rechargeable batteries |
