Where can I find 1.5-volt silver-oxide batteries for my Minolta XD-11 camera? |
The manual says Eveready S-76 or equivalent. Since this camera is from the '70s, would this batteries still be available today? If so, where can I find them online? The batteies you need are available at most any drugstore. I buy them in ten-packs on ebay and keep them refrigerated until needed. My 2 XD-11's, 3 X-700's, 2 XE-7's and 2 XG-9's all use that battery so I have to buy in bulk LOL! Here are two websites. I do know Circuit City carries these batteries. Bring your old battery if you have it, or that manual you've quoted to your local RadioShack, and they'll get you either that same battery or modern equivalent. They have charts of what batteries from their stock can substitute pretty much any battery in the world. |
