My camera won't turn on! It even has new batteries, Help?

My camera died on me. So my grandmother got me NEW batteries. AA. They are heavy duty batteries and they were fine in my other camera. Whats going on?

A digital camera needs lots of battery power to run...and using heavy duty batteries (or something similar), is just not good enough, not to mention, a complete waste of money.

So, for much longer battery life, you should buy a charger plus AA rechargeable NiMH batteries (high capacity, 2500mAh or higher).

Or, you could use non rechargeable Lithium batteries, such as Energizer e2. They are quite expensive, but provide so much more power than ordinary batteries.

Check your user manual. I'm sure that it will advise you to use rechargeable NiMH batteries...

btw...your LCD screen uses most of the battery power, so turn it off in-between shots and limit how long you spend reviewing your images.

check your connection,wiggle them around with cover off. Check with battery tester, you may have one bad one.

the thing is that camara that have batteries they ten to waste it all in a few couple of pictures u kno like u get them n put them on n like 6 pics later i marks low battery or it shuts off i had a cam just like that its that the batteries its just that the camara goes tru them quick u need to get some better expensive batteries u kno
