Is there such a thing as a solar battery charger for digital cameras?

My daughter is going on a treking trip to Morocco for 10days and wants to take lots of photos along the way. How can she re-charge her battery to last her the duration of the trip?
They will be in basic camping conditions so no access to power sources.

Yes, there is such a thing.

Most such chargers output 12 volts, so you'll need a charger that can accept a 12 volt input.

Generally speaking, what works is having a cigarette lighter output on the solar charger, then devices that use cigarette lighter adapters, such as for MP3 players, some AA battery chargers, cell phones, etc.

yes, local camping shop should be able to help, they around 2ft by 1ft and will connect direct to charger
