Can you overcharge a battery? |
Like for a cell phone or a rechargable digital camera battery? If yes, what happens? Does the battery not last as long in the future? Yes you can. Usually they don' t last as long but in extreme cases they've been known to explode or catch fire. yes for so idoms Older changers and batteries didn't come with on board protection but oday, most changers and batteries...(like those on cell phones) will go into a trickle charge mode after the battery reaches a set voltage preventing any over charge. |
