Spy camera battery?

I need to set up a small, IP pinhole-style spy camera and it needs to be wireless (power cords are not an option) but the battery-powered cameras that I have been looking at only work for about 10 hours due to the battery wearing down. I was hoping for at least a few days working time. Would lithium batterys be a lot better? Would hooking more batteries up to the camera help? Any other options? Thanks!

Yes,
Lithium batteries would have a longer life.
Wiring the batteries in parallel (tie all of the negative ends together and then tie all the positive ends together) would increase the runtime and maintain the voltage longer. Just be sure that you use matched cells of the same type and age. Depending on how you hide it, another option may be to get a solar cell to help charge the batteries up. There are nanny cams that are disguised inside of motion censor activated lights.
