Sony Cybershot ????

I have this camera called the Sony Cybershot and i havn't dropped it once. I got it as a prezzie from someone i know overseas. It has the place for batteries, so i put the batteries in properly..but it wasn't turning on.How do I ge it to turn on without having to take it to a camera fixing man.

oh and i have tried the power button..

power button?

take the batteries out and then back in

with the cybershot you have to charge it for a certain amount of time before you can use it (first time only)

try turning it on when it is on charge, when i got mine my dad had already charged it for me so that probably will help it... if not i would suggest taking it to a shop
