I just need to vent.......?

Okay, so today, I got a new hairdo & I wanted to take pics, so I used my mother's camera. I have my own camera but she took my batteries & used them for herself & I don't know where they are. Her other camera got broken because of my little cousin. I've never ever broken any of her property on purpose or in defiance. Now, she is really overprotective over her things and thinks that ME of all people is going to break them. I don't understand. I'm 15, and responsible, way mature than some 9 year old who broke her camera. So, when she found out I used it, she got extremely mad at me and said that I am no longer allowed in her room. I feel like I get blamed for everything. I didn't even break her camera, yet I can't use it for a few seconds. But, when my little cousins come to our house, she lets them play with my things and go in my room without any problem. I don't think it's fair =[[

I admit I was wrong, though, for touching her camera, but I still don't think it's fair.

Shes just being protective over her stuff those cameras arent cheap. But I would make a point to tell her that your stuff shouldnt be bothered by ones younger then you.

I agree with you, It really isn't fair!
I'm the middle child of 3 girls.. I get blamed for literally EVERYTHING! My older sister who is 21 doesn't even know how to plug something into a wall and makes me do it for her..
It's ridiculous.. i can't wait to leave home.. 2 weeks to go! haha

You are RIGHT, it's not fair. Respect should go both ways. Maybe when it's not an emotional time you could take to your Mom about respecting your property. If not, remember this and give your children the respect that you aren't getting now. Don't perpetuate the problem. Stop it at this generation. Good luck to you little one.
