Kodak Easy Share Camaera?

I got a Kodak easy share camera...and i put the batteries in and it still wont work! why!?? will i need to take it back?

Its pink..and what i always wanted. Do i have to get rid of it...or is there something i can do to fix it?

I got one of those for Christmas. First digital camera I have ever had, after years and years of using a 35mm SLR.

I have to be careful about putting the batteries in. It's easy to get the polarity mixed up; i.e., putting the "+" in where it should be "-".

You may want to look at your manual more carefully, and trying reversing the batteries. If this does not work, get some NEW batteries that you KNOW are good, and try again. If this does not work, I don't know what to do then.

I know that I dropped my cameral last week on a very hard floor at McDonald's. The camera was not in the case, either.

I was hoping that it still functioned, and it did! Very well made.
