I have a worn out screw on a digital camera, what can I do?

I need to open a certain part to put the batteries in...

Use a high strength epoxy and place the screw inside the epoxy before it dries.

depends on the size but you may try a little epoxy on a brad nail then a plires will take it out worked on a few projects

e - z - out a very small one.
