Sony Cyber Shot DSC-P200, used wrong charger?? |
My camera has worked like a dream for 3 years. I recently lost my charger, so I bought and used a universal one, with a slide switch to choose different voltgages. I used the 4.2 voltage setting, although my battery/camera says 3.6 on the bottom of it, because the instructions that came with the charger said to do so. It will not turn on at all anymore. Even with a battery and the correct charger, the camera will power on for a second, then back off. Anyone else have this problem? Did I permantely ruin my camera with that universal charger? Oops ... you didn't ruin the camera, just the battery. |
