Going to Disney?

Well I'm going to Florida and Disney World and well my family that is going with me they are really camera shy at least I think, and I am thinking about videotaping it, I am scared to think that they might think that I'm weird. What do I do and also how much on average is a camera battery?

Don't be concerned with what other people think. If it bothers you that much, ask them what they think about you videotaping. Once there, you'll see the "weird" ones are those without cameras.

If you're still uncomfortable, try to tape when they're not paying attention, and put it away when they are. Make sure you don't pay more attention to the camcorder than to your family.

Camcorder batteries can last anywhere from 1/2 an hour to 4 hours. The ones that are included are usually on the low side. Check places like Amazon.com for additional batteries, which are a must for vacations like Disney.

well, first of all, always make sure all of your cameras are using lithium batheries. Never use an alkaline battery in a camera. second, tape away. You will be glad you did. Our camera battery cost us about $40. We took an extra one with us and charged them both while we were back at camp. Just don't forget to bring something for it to reside in that is strong, maybe even a ziploc freezer bag to keep it in, inside of it's safe camera bag. Sometimes Disney gets wet and some of the rides do, too, AND if you have a large freezer bag, this allows you to videotape kali river rapids and splash mountain without ruining your camera.

Definately video tape. It's the most magical experience you'll ever have. Anway, camera batteries start off at about $10 and go up for the better batteries.
