It doesn't mess it up does it? |
my dad thinks that if i take the camera battery out of the charger, while its charing ( just or like 2 minutes) it will shorten the life of the battery. please help me prove my dad wrong. Battery memory is becoming a thing of the past. New lithium-ion bateries acquire very little memory. If your camera is old, you may have the old batteries and your dad is right. If you have a new battery then the chance of memory affecting your battery life is slim. The most important time to charge the battery is the initial charge, if you dont do that, you shorten the life. your dad right. those battery are made to run down and then recharge. they have a memory in them you short charge them and then they will keep that in memory and go dead allot sooner. you don't want to do that you want it to run dead and then let if fully charge.. |
