Good digital camera? 10 points to best?

i want to buy a good digital camera. my price range is $150 and i want it to have decent battery life, good at action shots, and good videos.
any suggestions?

Try Fuji, Panasonic, Olympus, Sony in addition to Canon and Nikon. They're all good brands. You should also think about size, weight and ergonomics.

To be more objective go to this comparison site -

All you need to do is plug in what you want, and it gives you a comparison of different models. Don't worry if you don't know what the question means, just skip it and move on to the next question.

Then go to Amazon and do a search for the models you like and read the reviews.

Fujifilm Finepix F10.
1. lithium ion battery
2. 1/1.7" sensor for faster light collection
3. will shoot video nonstop until memory card is full

look for a canon or nikon. those are the two big companies. and have the best cameras. try getting Li-Ion rechargeables they last 4x longer and can save you money.

For $150, you can get a basic digital camera only. Don't expect it will be good for action shots. You may consider Canon A590 IS for about $160.
