More wet camera questions!?

Hey guys!

If you read my other question about the incident of having a wet camera, then you will know what this is about. If you didn't, basically I got my Kodak EasyShare M753 digital camera emerged into water at a fair and now it isn't working!

I was told first that I should remove the battery from the camera and let it sit in a warm area to dry out and then maybe my camera will function normally again and then if it wasn't that it was time to break the ice and buy a new camera.

I am going to try the first method because I'd like to keep some cash. But this is the problem...

Where would the battery compartment be located, and how will I be able to open it?

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP GUYS!

On the bottom or on the side--there is a door (a lid of some sort) that can be open. There might be a little arrow there, too.

I respectfully ask you to take your time and read the manual from page 1 to the end. The knowledge you will gain from knowing what each control on the camera does will also improve your photos, too.

I am not saying you need to know about how it works and all that, but the whereabout of battery compartment is really a basic knowledge, like where to put gas in your car.

Consult your owners manual on that one.

If you do not have it, chances are its on the bottom or side of the camera.

How did you put batteries in it in the first place?

The Rat

Don't you have an owners manual? Usually it is on the bottom of the camera and there is a button to push that will open the door for battery removal and replacement. Check out the link below it will help you.
