An associate at a camera shop opened my camera's battery compartment and deleted my pictures, what can I do? |
She had already told me she could not help me, and refered me to customer service 877#. She had no reason to open the compartment, she was simply fiddling. Because of the incident the camera has been removed from stores across the country to be repackaged with a warning not to open the battery compartment are the pics will be deleted, but I am still out my pictures. Are the pictures stored on a removable medium, like a memory card or stick? Or are they in the camera's memory. If they're on a removable medium, then they should still be okay. If they're on the camera, I'm not sure if there's anything that will bring them back. Next time, be sure to download your pictures to a computer or other storage device before taking your camera in for servicing. What camera is this you are talking about ... ? hmm. not sure if this would help you but i was JUST NOW wasting time looking at this article, before i came to Yahoo answers to waste time. haha.. worth a look. Maybe there's a light leak from the battery compartment? Why did you leave a memory card with pictures in there without saving them off first? |
