MMC Plus with Dell Inspiron?

I have a MMC Plus card for my digital camera. I also have a Dell Inspiron 6400, with has a SD/MMC/MS/Pro/xD reader. When I insert the card into the reader, it does not recognize it. Do I need to install a driver for the MMC Plus?

Nom what you can try is to update the firmware of the cardreader. If i had it right it is the ricoh. I put it in the list (the link). Otherwise search support.dell.com - 6400 - catagory = chipset and then the ricoh
