Recently changed from Win 2000 to Win XP?

My polaroid digital camera used to work perfectly with win 2000 since installing win XP it installing the driver disc for camera perfectly, but when I connect the camera ,it comes up "no camera" connected?.
Anyone any ideas

look for the camera as a "removable storage" device. winXP sees some cameras as jump drives instead of a camera.

Go to the manufacturer's website and see if there are updated drivers for the PC or updated firmware for your camera.

most probably you did not install the correct driver on XP. Check the manufacturer's website for an updated driver for XP.

You may need to go to the camera manufacturers website and download the latest drivers and software for your camera.

try and run the disk through your computer again and then plug your camera in
