My desktop computer wont read any disk, I have no sound either?
I uninstalled VISTA and put XP back in. now my computer is working faster but I cant get it to read any disks and i have no sound, Also it doesnt seem to be able to find any driver for my printer,Digital camera or MP3 player.
Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it?
I'm not a computer expert so please give step by step instructions if at all possible. Sounds like you haven't installed the motherboard software that usually comes with the computer. This should enable the other built in components of you computer once you install it. If you have installed it or you dont have the driver cd, try connecting to the net and do this
Right lick my computer
properties
hardware tab
device manager
Look for all the components with question marks, right click them and update driver
