Will the South Australian courts chase unpaid speed camera fines if the driver is a NZ resident?

I am a NZ resident who visited Adelaide in January. I have received an expiation notice for a speed infringement. Apparently if I do not pay the fine, the matter will be passed on to the courts for follow up.

My question is whether the courts will attempt to follow it up in my case, as I was renting a car for a short period in Australia, I live in New Zealand and I do not have an Australian licence.

Chances are when/if you return to South Australia any checks by Police will show that you have the warrant outstanding. Customs may refuse you entry to Australia (when you land) as all the data bases are linked these days. You could potentially be taken before a court to have the matter heard. Hope this helps :-)
