Nobody for President! Lets just go it alone with no driver on the bus?

Obviously there has never been a "messiah" president who is the ultra-perfect candidate.

Democracy will prevail and the "best of the bunch" will be at least somewhat acceptable.

Some YA crazies are still bent on slamming, and insulting - but next election, how 'bout YOU run for office? Got what it takes to get yourself UP THERE?

Start from living in the projects in Chicago to graduating from Harvard? Get yourself elected as a Senator? Put forward provisions in your state to protect individual rights for EVERYONE?

Have police car cameras in YOUR state?

Have an organized campaign?

Give a speech capable of getting people inspired?

Have any freekin clue as to what your talking about?

Care about citizens, economy, military personel, war and why we are in one, - enough to want to build a country where you can have a decent life and be treated fairly?

Well its funny that you mention this. Under current circumstances I really dont think it is as necessary for us to have that single figurehead organization that we originally had at the nations founding. To me it seems like it would be so much more effective for us to have more like a boardroom type dealy with multiple chairpersons.

Nobody can make the American people realize the real reason jobs are jobs are going overseas.

Nobody can make peace in the middle east.

Nobody can control oil prices.

Why does anyone want the job of President of the US? You don't have the power to do the things people want you to, and no matter what you do there will be an automatic 35% that will say you are wrong and another 30% who are unsure whether you are wrong or right, but because they are pessimists they'd bet you were wrong.

The only way I'd want to be President is if I had the authority people 'think' the President has.

that takes money and connections. plus politicians look out for their freinds and themselves.
