Speeding tickets?

i have a motobility vehicle which has 2 nominated drivers and both people have access to the car.whilst i was away one of them was caught on camera doing 40 mph in a built up area.both deny driving at the time of incidence and photographic evidencce provided by the police is rear view of car only which doesnt show occupant.i am the registered owner so what happens if they both deny knowledge of the incident

you can try and fight it but if its your car its your responsibility. thats why i never let anyone drive my car

You are responsible since you are the registered owner of the vehicle. Luckily though you should not get any points against your drivers license because they cant prove who was driving, only that your vehicle made the traffic infraction. You might as well pay it or tell the other two to pitch in or they wont be able to drive your car anymore.

well, they are going to have to prove that in court. Somebody was speeding in that car, obviously. Whoever has the ticket issued to them needs to be more responsible for their action. Whoever has the ticket issued to them is the one who was driving.

It's called Owner Liability...and you're on the hook as long as the actual driver won't take responsibility.
