I was caught by a speed camerA on the opposite side of the road trying to avoid the camera doing 56 in a 30.?

i recieved the letter through the post, sent it of saying i was the driver. didnt hear any thing for about a month. then recieved a letter for a court date. i have a clean license and am about 2 month away from being out of the first 2 year trial period. i have sent the ltter back to court as soon as i got it. plus i said i was rushing home to my fiace as she was being threatened and how i realy on my car for my job. do you rekon they will ban me?

You screwed up and got caught. You will suffer the consequences.

I think in the first 2 years you get banned with 6 points rather than the usual 9. Speeding generally only gives you 3 points so you'd be okay, but if they want to pull you up for dangerous driving too you might be in trouble.

your lucky you wasnt going 60 because they would no chanse to ban you, personally if the road is empty enough for you to go on the other side of it it wasnt that dangerous apart from to your self so who cares

I have not experienced this yet but I found a site that says they can help you reduce or get out of this. Go to ehow.com and type in camera speeding tickets in the information bar.

All they want is for you to pay a big fine. You really made it worse by being caught on the wrong side of the road.

Just plead guilty you wont loose your license.
