How to disable found new hardware wizard in my laptop?

I have here an Acer Aspire 5600 Laptop.
It had a virus and a technician reformatted its hard drives.
Upon reinstalling the drivers, he found out that the camera (which is built in) is not working properly, he told us it might be broken or something so he disabled it in the Device Manager. During my first week of using this newly reformatted PC, nothing seemed to be wrong but suddenly, this "Found New Hardware Wizard" pops up everytime I'm playing a game, or chatting, or doing some important things. It's too annoying!
I tried reinstalling the driver but this doesn't solve my problem, the device is not working anymore! I also tried disabling the device but this Found new hardware wizard still comes out.
I tried renaming or deleting newdev.dll on the C:/windows/system32 folder but still this wizard annoys me and the newdev.dll comes out! please someone help me. i don't know how to get rid of this wizard.

BTW, I'm using Windows XP

i already disabled the hardware on the device manager. but this annoying wizard still irritates me.

Enter cmos setup and see if there's a parameter for camera to disable it. Since it is built-in I pressume there's an option for turning it off.

To get to the CMOS setup:
Restart your computer and press <F2> to enter setup during post.
After entering setup, explore the menus and look for options regarding the cam to disable it.
I can't tell you more because I haven't seen Aspire's cmos menu interfaced. Up to you to explore.

Don't adjust anything except the cam for cmos/bios setup is the primary configuration of your laptop and might cause you more trouble.

After that save your configuration and test it out.

use the steps:
Right cleck on my computer icon
select manage
there select device manager
u can see the list of devices available in your system...
from there you can disable your device..
try it..

uninstall your operating system
