I have a z710 digital camera, and took a video that I am trying to transfer onto windows media. I have a dell hp, and have tried everything, but it keeps accepting it as only a picture. I want to edit it first, before I put it on myspace. The program I uploaded it to was kodak easyshare, and I would use the manual, but it's only in japenese and spanish:( First you need to make sure you have the right cord that plugs into your system, then plug it in and if nothing pops up then go to your start menu - all programs - my computer - scroll down to see if it says anything is connected to your harddrive if not check the cord and make sure it is in really good - then look to the left and it should say get video or picture whatever it is you have from your camera - if it dosnt try the same routine but under my pictures - or my movies whatever you choose. Good Luck ask me if you have any other questions conscerning this kind of problem i do this on a daily basis:-) are you using the easyshare charger and transfer dock,if so any video made with easyshare cannot be open in windows media player, with kodak easyshare you need quicktime to veiw videos,it is a free download, you can also buy a card reader(walmart-$15.00)to transfer photos and videos,i use a canon now,i can download right from camera into windows photo gallery,my sister uses my kodak easyshare now, i must say the pictures and short videos come out nice, once you download quicktime, your videos should pop up,any problems you have kodak gives quick and good support |
