and ill buy a
Kingston Ultimate 2GB Secure Digital (SD) Flash Card Model SD/2GB-U
Now, the camera can take up to 1gb (says the manual on their site, so disregard the 512mb thing on newegg), and Kingston on their site has a search for devices and when i do the Vivitar 8300s, that card came up, so i called them up and they said that they personally test them to show what the camera can support, this its guaranteed to work in the camera.
I can get the camera and the 2gb SD card for $134.11 with shipping from newegg.com
NOW, is that a good camera and a good deal to go with? The specs are excellent and the customer reviews at amazon.com seem legitimate for "new" purchases, however, a "recertified" camera may be an indication of trouble down the road. Vivitar cameras in general have poor records for repairs and is the major reason why so many end up in used camera and pawn shops. I'd pass on this Vivitar, simply because of the poor quality merchandise coming from Vivitar.
Good luck! Yes, It sounds like a good deal mate! |
