Hi I like to take photos of my kids. Is it the best use digital or manual camera. If I use manual what lance will be best? And how to light the scene? Also how to set tu camera not to over/under expose?
Thank you sooo much Katerina The best thing to do is look at the work of other professionals work. Look at the lighting they use and see if you can figure out how the set up their key and fill lights.
Just use your cameras meter the same way you always do. A digital camera will let you correct any lighting or exposure issues.
There are some links below. You should use a digital (dSLR) camera it is easy to use for editing than manual camera ... edit photos can switch photos from normal to be proffesional
lenses very important .... Macro/Telephoto/Wideangle lenses is important for capturing proff. shots
Macro for close up and portrait
Telephoto for long distance objects like birds, football players
Wide angle for landscape
for lights as mentioned above you should see others' shots with the EXIF data
