Aiptek HD Camera can it focus?

I have an Aiptek HD Camera but can it auto focus it seems to only use manual focus. is there is setting to put it in auto focus?

i really dont no

The info I can find on it says "auto focus". What do you mean by it seems to use only manual focus? Can you actually turn the lens to focus? Or do you mean you just cannot tell that it is auto focusing?

It may be in reality a "fixed focus" camera. The two terms are tossed about by manufacturers, though they are two different things. Auto focus means the lens elements actually move to achieve a sharp focus. A "fixed focus" lens is set to try to be in focus at all ranges, the lens elements do not actually move. It only gives barely adequate focus at best.

Face it, this is a cheap, off brand camera. I would not expect much from it, including misleading information from the manufacturer.
