i had just bought a photo camera the aabove brand, i read th manual all way. A 4.1 megapixel camera's file size wil not be 4 megabytes. The 4.1 megapixel refers to the cam's sensor meaning that it can sense 4,100,000 different dots to make up the picture but that doesn't translate to 4,100,000 bytes of information because most digital cameras use JPEG as the file they save the pictures as and JPEG files are compressed to save room but keep a pretty good image quality. A few cams, but not most, will have the option to save images as RAW files which i think are uncommpressed and would be much bigger. Set it to the highest setting....... |
