Problem with my Sony DSC-W55 Digital Camera? |
When I turn on my camera it says "Access" on the screen and when I push any button it changes to "reinsert the memory stick." I have reinserted the stick several times and have tried all the troubleshooting suggestions in the manual. I have never dropped the camera - it just did this one day out of the blue! Take the battery out of the camera for approximately 5 minutes. Then reinsert it & power it up. It should have reset and now recognise your memory stick. If it does not, see if your PC recognises the memory stick. Try a different memory stick. If it is a fault of the camera by chance, they are still available. Buy another one and exchange and turn in your old one and get your money back. |
