What is the best setting to take photos at a night indoor concert on my Sony DSC W200?

The guy at the camera shop told me to turn the flash off but what ISO level should i set it too? I have a manual mode on this camera so what should i set the aperture and shutter levels to? I also know that i have to have it set to 'center' or 'spot' so its focusing on the middle of the shot in the distance were gonna be sitting right at the back!

Chances are your pictures will be blurred. When it is that dark your aperture stays open for many seconds to let the light in so it can make a picture. Meanwhile the band is not standing still posing for you. They are in fact moving around and people around you are bumping in to you also. That is why no matter what camera you bring the results will be the same. My advice to you is to go through each setting during the concert & see what happens. You may also want to visit the Sony support site for your camera. There are online tutorials and live help is available if needed. Follow the link below>>>

The good news is, your camera goes up to ISO 6400. The bad news is, a picture at that setting won't look very good. Before you go to the concert, practice changing the ISO and taking pictures by hand. Get practice holding very still. Talking a picture of the TV screen from across the room with the lights out would be perfect practice. More bad news: you aren't going to get good results at all. For your situation, you'd need a high zoom and image stabilization to take any pictures worth bragging about.

Are you sure cameras are allowed at this concert? Most places don't allow any type of camera, and if that is the case, they will take it away, and you won't get it back.

You have a nice camera, but I doubt you would be happy with any pics you would take at this event if you are sitting way in the back. Your camera only has a 3x optical zoom, and that would not get you down very close. The people would look awfully small.

Why not leave your camera home where it will be safe, and just buy a program. That will have better pictures than you would be able to take, even if cameras are permitted.
