Digital Camera close ups..for small objects..?

I have a Digital Camera Vivitar 5.0 Pixels..I have read the Manual front too back 3-times with no flower on the icons..its a good Camera..but wont focus anything really small..any ideas..

You'd think it would have a macro setting...check for that. Every digital camera that I have had did have that feature.

My guess is the camera you own is a very basic one.

The Vivitar 5.0 MP cameras I looked at on the Internet, they were ones that did not have optical zooms or many advanced features and rather inexpensive (relative because, there are other cameras in that price range with many more features than a Vivitar camera.

Look here for a new camera that will allow you to shoot macro images.

Clear answers, you should give your cam. name and model.
All cameras have the close- up setting, SLR mostly depend on lens.
