Sony Cameras: Manual Modes? |
Can anyone tell me what the most recently Sony camera with a manual mode (that is, shutter priority mode to be precise) other than the DSLRs or H-Series? I really like Sony's digital camera lineup but the drawback is that many of them do not have a shutter priority mode. The DSC-H3 and DSC-H10 are very nice and have many quasi-professional features but they are bulkier than, say, the W-Series, which would be ideal since it's pretty much pocketable. So, if anyone can tell me what the most recently released compact camera with a shutter priority mode by Sony is, that would be much appreciated. I went thru dpreviews list of sony digital cameras and clicked on every other w,s and t series cameras and none of the ones I looked at had a shutter priority mode. The closest ones were the p series from 2004 & 2005 that had a manual mode but no shutter priority. If you want tostick with Sony you're stuck with the h series if you want shutter priority or look at another manufacturers compact camera that has shutter priority. |
